This place is defiantly a local gem. Walk up, order your food and take it with you. The tacos delicious, guacamole delicious, chips are perfection. I wanted to go back the same night.

This place is amazing! I got a little worried when I noticed something different written on my foil around the burrito, but it turned out to be the 24k California burrito I ordered--and it was delicious! I also tried the horchata and churro donuts, and everything was fantastic. It's on the pricey side, but supporting a local business makes it worth it. Just keep in mind that street parking can be limited depending on the time and day. There's no seating here; it's strictly pick-up and go.

Best hole in the wall Birria place in San Mateo! Bought it through Door dash this this time! Picture is attached! Worth the price!! Location could be better, most of the time there is no parking available. You will be forced to park your car blocking the road. But so, far food is 10/10. Their customer service is top notch as well. Just the location is the problem.

This spot is is literally a hole in the wall! No sit down, just a simple order and pick up. You can order online and skip the wait. The service was alright, they were pretty busy though. As for the food itself the prices were pretty expensive but the flavor and quality of the ingredients make up for it. The 24k burrito was a pretty good california style burrito with tator tots inside. The taquitos was packed with chicken and cheese and every bite was yummy! Pair it with the queso dip and it was amazing. I'll definitely be back to try other menu items!

Got the chicken 24k burrito! You park your car right in front and grab it to go. It was quick and easy. Total was $22 with tax. It was delicious. The tater tots offered a nice crunch. There was a good amount of good quality chicken in it, no rice, and no beans. I would get it again if I was near the area, but it's definitely pricey.

The 24K California Burrito was delicious, but with two layers of foil, it was surprisingly lukewarm after a 10-15 minute drive for delivery and I had to reheat it in the microwave. I also liked the taste of their orange sauce, but would've liked a little more heat. If there was the option to add a side of salsa (for free) with different spice levels, that would make it perfect. Lastly, the $20 price point for the burrito was a little high and $1 for choosing carne asada was surprising to me, but overall, it was a decent value. The House Horchata was also good, but expensive at $6+ for something pre-bottled. To summarize, my recommendations for Suavecito to improve would be to: 1) Find a better way for the burrito to retain its heat during delivery, 2) include complimentary salsa to adjust spice levels, and 3) lower prices by 10-20% (for example, $15-17 for the burrito and $5 for the horchata).

I ordered here for our work lunches and out-of-work meals. It is always a treat every time we order it! One thing that is very impressive is the overall to-go packaging. There were never any issues with spillage and what not. I love ordering the churros, birria, quesadilla, and taquitos. The sizes here are pretty good, Goldilocks size. Not too big, not too small, just right. I think these are one of the better chips I've ever had to be honest. The chips remind me of like a fried wonton kind of texture and on top of that - it is salted like a mofo. Idk if y'all like that but I do lol. I've honestly never been here and only have door dashed hahaha. I will say this spot is one of the best Mexican spots around the San Mateo area.

Just standing outside waiting for my order to be prepared, the aromas were wonderful. There's a wall with a window cut into it. If the doors are open, it's worth a stop. If the doors are closed, keep on driving. There is no restaurant. The building faces a soundwall that blocks off most of the noise from the 101 Freeway. The orders are made to order so you can expect a wait unless you placed an order in advance. Be sure to wear a sweater or a jacket if you're sensitive to cold. It can get windy here. Service was terrific. The order taker answered all of our questions. The menu is pretty small and simple. Best to check it online before you arrive. We ordered two sets of Quesabirria Tacos. Each came with three tacos, consomme, pickled cabbage, salsa verde and lime wedges. Use the condiments, dip the tacos in the consomme and eat! When the tacos are gone, drink the remaining consomme. Then burp and prepare for the full belly coma to come. The tacos are loaded with flavorful tender beef and tons of cheese. I would have liked a bit more cilantro but I'm just a greedy person. The consomme was absolutely perfect, not a salt bomb like so many other places. We also ordered Agua Frescas to drink. She got Strawberry Lime and I got Horchata. Those are house made and packaged in plastic bottles. Ask the order taker nicely and they will provide you with cups of ice if you like your drink super cold. We thoroughly enjoyed our food and will be back to try more flavors.
